Here are a couple of things you need to do to become a calmer.

1. Join a community of creative minded people

“Creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment.”

Whenever you feel upset, you should join a community of creative minded people. They can be found anywhere on social media, in your locality, your neighbors and even at your home. You should identify their interests and tastes so that you can work closely with them. The idea is to remain busy with productive and constructive things.

2. Make more friends

A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”

In order to avoid burnout, I made a lot of friends the previous year. It helped me remain stress free and brought a lot of positivity to my life. You should also do the same. Making a lot of good friends will enable you to remain surrounded with the people who are ready to do anything to bring a smile on your face. Friends sometimes provide more support than family members; so you shouldn’t feel shy making a lot more friends.

3. Invest in workplace wellbeing

“The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body will become.”

Like me, you can increase your level of energy by investing some money and time in your workplace. If the office you work in is not beautiful, seek the permission of the manager or owner and spend some money to make it beautiful. Plus, you should collaborate with your office colleagues regularly, especially when you have a lot of work to do and are upset.
