Exactly. They know it’s an idea that anybody could have come up with, therefore they roll out so aggressively. The disruptive part is the insane funding behind it that allows for this, the idea itself isn’t disruptive at all, but the speed and aggression by which it is rolled out is.

Anyway, it’s insulting that they dare to call this the “sharing economy”. Because all it does is TAKE. They do zero actual work, and milk those doing the actual work. If that model has any negative side effects, well…that’s for society to solve. All the pros, none of the cons. “Sharing economy”.
