Blog, Shmog, what we really need is a serendipitous digital water cooler

I’ve always hated blogs. They come off as being the source of so much skewed thinking. For me, the best insights come from dialogue and two-way conversation.

So, I’m going to keep this particular piece very short.

I’m founding a new community over at lateral-thinking.space it’s somewhere people interested in the world(s) and source(s) of creativity can come along and chime in with their views and perspectives.

The idea being sometimes you need to look to other people for inspiration, advice and to share the things they, and you understand. Sometimes you don’t. Sometimes you’ll want to write a hundred words. sometimes one. Sometimes you’ll want to lead and others to follow and other times they’re in charge. The aim of this new community is to let people do exactly that. People can also share the sources of their creative inspiration.

Oh, and if it’s really popular I’d like to organise some socials and make the friendships that are digital, analogue. So head over and feel free to join up.
