My experience seems to have been a little different as my “symptoms” began the morning of the 19th when I tried to read and became dizzy and nauseous, then upon standing I experienced severe vertigo. My head felt like it would explode and I actually vomited twice until I got the message and laid down. Except for bathroom visits, I slept for about 36 hours when I was finally able to get up the afternoon of the 20th. The extreme headache did not recede until that evening. I returned to work on the 21st, fuzzy headed, but better. I was fine the day of the eclipse — I chose not to watch it. That week I was still tired, but not exhausted and have gradually improved with time.
