Corona-virus can’t stop us
Fear is creeping in, as the Corona-virus continues to spread and the WHO is declaring a pandemic. With more than 150.000 confirmed cases and over 6000 deaths as of today (15.03.2020), it is difficult not to be scared for our loved ones — especially while more and more countries are declaring lockdowns and the market is crushing.
But if I learned something in the last few days — it is that no matter how difficult the situation is, humankind is able to take it. We are able to find the light in all circumstances. We are able to fight together. When matters, we step together and stand against whatever we need to face. The community, the unity is ready to help out those that need help.
May it be the governments taking difficult decisions. May it be companies that face challenges. May it be medical staff and people that make sure we have electricity, water, food. May it be neighbours helping out. So many people are stepping up and doing their best to help and support others.
Sometimes it is difficult to find positivity and spirit in everyday life. But then — in the moments of difficulties — is always to be found, and it shines so strongly. In the songs of the Italians that sing together while in quarantine. In the effort of nurses that go on and on, without stopping. In the meals that…
