I really think our social game has been on the decline since social media and smart phones became mainstream. No one wants to do anything in person anymore. We are turning into a society of hermits who live life through a glass screen. I totally feel you on trying to set up mom time. I found it nearly impossible until I decided to turn it into evening walk time with other moms, which is successful until winter arrives. Three more years and you will have lots of new faces and friends for both you and your baby girl. Now that my son has graduated high school I need to find a “mid-life crisis mom group” *wink!
