Senator Palpacruz pleased at Dems connecting with their anger

Senator Palpacruz, one of the foremost leaders of the Galactic Republican Empire, expressed satisfaction at the infighting that occurred within the Democratic Rebel Alliance during yesterday's debate.

The Imperial Senator faced some questioning himself, during a press conference aboard Galactic Battleship Koch. Critics accused him of using his evil powers to induce the Rebel leaders into destroying each other, bringing his vision of a homogenously conservative galaxy within reach.

Palpacruz rejected the notion that he may be involved in the Rebel turmoils, and maintained that he followed the debate for its sheer entertainment value. — "Who doesn't like a good fight to the death?", he inquired, as he fidgeted with his scepter of uncanny conservative power.
