The first episode of a podcast!!!! Very Thrilling!! I could write something overly sincere to justify this thing’s existence or try to write something not very funny to justify this thing’s existence, but the point of a podcast is for you to have to listen to me talk, so I’m not writing shit for you vultures!
This is episode one of I’m 25 Now, with Shelby Fero. The guest for our flagship episode is Kate Peterman, herself a performer, writer, and host of her own podcast (Things I Used To Lie About). Kate did not hear what I said before agreeing to do the show, so remember — if it turns out the show either has no entertainment nor moral value — that she is simply doing me a favor.
Okay! In this episode I talk about some stuff like the concept of toxic stress, toxic white feminism, and toxic media reactions to cops in sentencing getting hugged by the victim’s brother. Been playing Pokémon again and the word “toxic” has been on my mind apparently!
And if you’re in LA, check out Kate’s ONE WOMAN SHOW “People Pleaser” on October 11th.
