And so, I’m back again with the white vans (and promised some other white clothing, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb).
That which is itching my mind at the moment is to write about clarity. It’s an itchy, gross feeling to be unclean, for one’s room not to be clear, organized, well put together. And it’s the same of the mind. But if one wants one’s room to be cleaned, one doesn’t clean the broom or the vacuum. Instead, one uses these tools to clean the room.
By the same logic, the search for clarity…
KindHuman, the charitable organization working to build this prayer movement, believes that the Lord is calling people to prayer walk 2,115 Walmart stores — all east of the Mississippi.
This is the short version of the story that answers the question: Why Walmart?
In October of 2020, four Kind Human Board Members retreated to a log cabin in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. During this time of seeking the Lord, a monumental mission shift occurred. Providing clean drinking water would no longer be the organization’s primary mission. Instead, Kind Human’s primary mission would be to bring Living Water to the church.
The mission of Kind Human is to bring Living Water to the church.
It would be difficult to answer this question exhaustively and we won’t attempt to do this here. Rather, here we present attributes of the Living Water Life. God has specifically laid, on the heart of Kind…
During quarantine, my mom has started every dinner by asking my brother Luke and I, “What’s been the favorite part of your day?”
Some sort of dinner question like this has been a tradition of ours at family dinners for as long as I can remember. In middle school up through parts of high school, “Two Truths and a Lie,” was a family favorite. We’d think through our day and tell each other three things. Two which were true (but might seem false) and one which was false, but seemed true.
This would, of course, inevitably spiral into either laughter…
Or, reminiscing on my lauded middle school football career
I had an interesting conversation with a friend today about leadership, which can be best reproduced by the following contrast between track and football.
Football. The classic gridiron, go-to sport of manliness, big muscles, intensity, testosterone, and grit. This is a sport that I played in middle school, which lacked most of the things mentioned in that above description (in particular the manliness and big muscles), but which still brings to mind not only all of these qualities, but also the quality of the fight. The war.
The war here…
Let’s start from the start.
I know I’ve received a few new followers after Startup Career Fair wrapped up, and I want to start by saying: wow what an awesome event. Thank you to everyone who attended, kept up to date with our medium posts, and made the event a huge success.
That being said, my medium account is usually not devoted to Startup Career Fair or anything of the sort. Instead, most of my writing is a sort of weird stream of consciousness rambling mixed with occasional insights, cursing, turmoil, and clarity. It’s a log of the things…

Welcome back to Startup Career Fair’s company spotlights.
Here we have TechCatalyst, a new Ann Arbor-based accelerator looking to support Graduate and Ph.D. students who want to start their own ventures.
Tech Catalyst was born to help people who want to start a company but don’t have a cofounder, or have no clue where to start.
And even though many of those who want to start a company have the ability to be successful, most of these people decide not to. We want to change that.
Founding a startup is a full-time job in and of itself. But because it’s…
You have so many options for your career. You could work in corporate, nonprofits, startups, a Venture Capital firm or even be a founder.
With so many choices, it’s really hard to decide what’s best for you. So, we talked to a Googler turned VC turned Startup Founder to tell his story and share his lessons, in hopes that it might make your choices a little bit clearer.
