You can consider the UN bags are a unique introduction to the packaging and transportation industry. They are specially manufactured and certified by the UN Association for carrying hazardous substances that can cause harmful consequences if not handled properly.

UN Bags

Even more amazing aspect of the UN bags is that they are available in precisely customized forms and features to meet the specific requirements of the customers.

Listed here are some of the options of UN bags that you will popularly get. So, scroll down to explore these options

· Safe load bearing capacity

These UN Bags can be differentiated and categorized on the basis of their load bearing capacity. This capacity usually ranges from 500 kilos to 1500 kilos.

However, some of the varieties of UN bags also come with a safe weight bearing capacity of 5,000lbs (approx. 2260 kilos). So, you have to choose the UN bag based on the average weight of the product that you wish to pack and ship.

· Coating and liner construction

The next option that you will get for categorizing UN bags is based on the type of coating and liner construction of these bags.

To be more precise, there are four specific categories of UN bags, 13H1, 13H2, 13H3 and 13H4.

The category, 13H1, is uncoated. Bags under this category do not come with any inner lining too.

On the contrary, the category indicated as 13H2 comes is coated with fabric. However, the UN Bags under this category also does not have any in-liners like that of 13H1 bags.

Again, the distinctive feature of the 13H3 category of UN bags is that they have uncoated fabrics in their construction, but comprise in-liners.

The fourth category of UN Bags, the 13H4, has a fabric coated construction and also comes with in-liners.

There are differences in the shape of these in-liners too. While some of the liners are tubular, others come in customized shapes that comply with the exact shape of these UN bags.

· Lifting loops

The UN bags can also be differentiated from each other based on the construction and position of the lifting loops. The common varieties of these based on this specific category are cross-corner loops, hood loops, side seam loops, sleeve loops, ancillary loops, single stevedore straps and double stevedore straps.

If you take a look at the cross-corner loops, you will find that either side of each loop is stitched at each of the sides of the corners of the UN bags. Again, a loop-type loop comes out of each of the side seams of the bag in the case of the side-seam looped UN bag.
