Random Acts Of Kindness

How it sounds if we are to live in a world where nobody cares for each other ? Nobody gives anything to other ? Nobody bothers each other ? Obviously It would ultimately be a an impossible and a miserable place to live in . We cannot survive in such a harsh world like robots . We being the “Crown of Creations” and “Paragon of Animals” have some fundamental needs and such a greatest need is kindness .Not only we need to receive kindness but also to spread love by small random acts to kindness. This is to give without expectation and sometimes unconditionally just to satisfy our conscience and solace our soul as human nature demands to solace its soul by such acts of kindness and generosity.

A random act of kindness is: “A selfless act performed by a person or persons wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual. There will generally be no reason other than to make people smile, or be happier.”

The very moment we feel dejected , exhausted mentally and disturbed is the moment our soul is demanding to work for others , to serve humanity for solacing our souls as our religion also teaches us this thing.

“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”

–Scott Adams

Nature has put the passion for kindness in animals too along with humans . Once I was watching Nat Geo and I was much inspired by the act of a rhinoceros who saw a deer fighting for life and trying hard to breath being injured . It pulled the deer out of lake and protected him .It tried to move him and saved him from being drowned and eaten by a crocodile. How an animal of one specie which has no ability to comprehend the animal of another specie be able to act kindly ? It was shocking but applaudable . If animals has this sense why not humans? Even wheN our soul demands this ? So , I decided to do something no matter if it is small but at least do something as an act of kindness .

1. Helped a person through his work :

During my internship I completed my task one hour before and I saw my one of colleagues pretty much busy in sample handling and seemed so tensed how to manage in time . I don’t know her name even .But than I thought for a moment I am free and I can see her through the reports .So I did . I asked her but she was confused why I was helping her might be I want something in return but I assured her that I have no such intentions. I assisted her in preparing reports and the very moment she completed her task she was so thankful with loads of prayers . That feeling to see smile on her face and freshness was just pacifying .

2. Consoling a friend :

I came to know a week ago that one of my friend’s grandfather had passed away. She was so tensed and when I meet her I felt her so dejected , depressed . I remember how that feeling was when my grandfather and Uncle died with the gap of 3 days. So I think I can make her feel relaxed better than any other. So I asked her for a walk. Talked casually and came to the point by explaining my condition and what I did to help me and my family feel better. I took her to a restaurant to refresh her. We ate together and I diverted her mind .I told her that whenever she would feel that disturbed I am always there for her. She hugged me and kissed my forehead . That day she felt so refreshed and happy .Seeing her smiling after a long time made me feel so pacified.

3. Cook a meal who is busy enough and going through a rough time :

My aunt is suffering from hernia . Her daughter use to cook for family . We visit each other weekly . So this time when I went to her house I cooked vegetable rice and took with me at their home so she does not feel that burdened as she is also managing her university . We both families ate together and She was so glad and I helped her through one of her tasks and she spent that time in doing her university work.

4. When you’re throwing something away on the street, pick up any litter around you and put that in the trash too

During my internship throughout the week whenever I discarded my gloves after collecting samples I also discarded all the contaminated materials and litter I found throughout the laboratory which other interns left over. I am cocksure and I fervently hope that It would help the sweeper for those days a lot by reducing his pressure of work.

5. Forgive someone, and never bring up the issue again

My senior was too busy three days ago and in her hectic and tiring routine she discouraged me with such a raspy tone a lot in front of the whole interns .I felt infuriated badly but the very moment I realized that she was in her busy routine and that is natural . So when she called me the very time for work I behaved politely and that was something she really felt . She dealt all interns those days with politeness because of this mirroring effect .

All these random acts of kindness teaches us how to be a worthy human spreading humanity and kindness everywhere . These all aspects are so important during professional and personal life as these small acts of kindness help us through being a good at job position bringing much positive out of others at the organization where every body is so busy in their life as it differentiates one from others and helps in self branding along with self satisfaction.
