Are You Ready For The Temptations?
As followers of God every day in our life’s, we will be tempted. Some temptations will be easier to pass than others. But what will you do when you get tempted? Do you think you are strong enough to bypass all temptations? Play close attention and you will find your answer.
No matter who you are you can be the president of the USA you can be a famous writer you will never be strong enough to bypass any temptation. Now let me explain why. Mark 10:27 tells us “With man, this is impossible but with God because all things are possible with God.” Yes God does and has allowed the devil to tempt each one of us. Most of us that are followers of Christ know when we are being tempted. And come one let’s admit it we have fallen more times than we should. Have you ever wondered why?
Why Do I Fail Temptation
Why do I fail temptation? The answer to that question might grab you by surprise. God allows us to be tempted for one reason. He wants us to learn more about him but also to grow a stronger faith. Let me set an example here. Say you got a flat tire and you are in one of the biggest freeways in Texas. You then call me for help so I can go help you with your flat tire. With to excuse I drive up there and help you. So then you grow a faith in me that I will help you when you are in need. Now let’s go back to faith in God. When you are being tempted when you start having thoughts of doing a wrong call God and ask him for help. See that is why so many people fall into temptation I can guarantee you that every person that has fallen into temptation never went to the lord for help. I have been in positions that I have been tempted by the Devil and a couple of these times I fail just because I never asked the lord for help. But then I realized that if I asked God for help he would help me bypass the temptation I was in. So when you fall into temptation the best thing to do is pray to ask God for help.
Matthew 26:41 “Stay aware and pray, so that you won’t enter temptation. The spirit is willing and the flesh is weak.” Every time that you feel like the devil is tempting you or that you get evil thought pray to God ask him to help you. And you will see how our lord will help you with the devil’s temptations.
Don’t fall into temptation remember to always ask the lord with FAITH. Try it out and tell me how it goes.
