The Importance Of Reading The Bible
Now in a day, there are many humane theories when it comes to the word of God. In all the many religions or even churches of the same religion create lies about the Word of God. So where does this leave us? Should we stop going to church and study on our own? Or should we take the matter into our own hands and distance the truth from the lies?
I was at one of our bible studies. And one of the ladies there at the study pointed out a good point about the human race. There are so many lies out there about the word of God. Like for example, some religions base their beliefs on their prior knowledge. Others churches read the word of God and chose to teach us their opinion and make us believe that their opinion is the correct thing to believe.
How Can I Avoid Getting Lied At?
So now the question, how can I avoid getting lied at? Well, it’s simple, when you hear something at church that does not sound right look it up. Go to your bible and read it for yourself and remember that whatever if written down in your bible is the pure truth of God and whatever is not there is a pure lie. God did not write down his word just to see it in paper rather to teach us the complete truth. Now when you find what you were looking for it is important that you do NOT go to the leader of your church or whoever said the lie with aggressiveness.Just sit them down in a room and talk to them and tell them how it is that they are wrong also tell them what the truth is don’t keep them confused in their lie.
To avoid getting lied at takes a lot of reading the bible. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that you have to read the full bible all at once. Chose a topic from a study book or even google but chose a topic and slowly start to read over that topic. Do this every week or every month but make sure to get every point in your head and make sure you understand everything it is trying to tell you.
Don’t let the world drown you in lies. The world can turn the pure word of God into millions of lies and it is your job not to let those lies get to you. Read the bible feed yourself with truth and you will see how all the lies that come towards you get knocked down.
