What sets a beach club apart from a beach is that it offers more comfort and convenience. It’s a luxury experience of enjoying the beach. A place where you go to relax and forget about your day to day life, where it’s all about enjoying life, being in the moment and soaking up the sea, sand and sun.

It’s a place that you don’t want to leave and a place you don’t have to for the whole day because they have all the facilities there: changing rooms, showers, restaurant, bar, sometimes even transport, table service, valet parking, pool, water sports, shop, wifi etc.
A beach club offers sun beds next to the ocean and usually consists of several rows of beds, the most exclusive one is always the one at front row, meaning the beds closest to the water so you can easily just jump in and you get the best view of the ocean, this luxury often comes for an extra charge. At some places they also offer different types of beds, from a chair being the cheapest to a sun bed to renting a whole Cabana, which is usually more expensive. People that are after privacy and exclusivity are the ones paying for coming to a beach club as it is a private beach where they only accept a number of people at the same day. So during high season it is recommended to book in advance as they become very popular and don’t allow more people in than there are beds for.
Some offer a season ticket, you pay a set price and you have a chair reserved for you everyday for the whole summer for a discounted price. They usually offer different prices depending on how long you are there for: full day price or half day.
Beach Clubs exists all over the world from South East Asia to North America to the Mediterranean. Some destinations that are beach club heavy are Mykonos(Greece), Ibiza (Spain), France and Bali.
