It might be recency bias but in 3 separate twenty-minute stretches, one at each match, United…

Not to burst your bubble, but I watched the same game and am not a United fan. ManU didn’t do anything offensively before scoring the first goal. Additionally, had Southampton been just a little bit more incisive, they could have scored two themselves. The 25 minute stretch you mentioned occurred after you went up by two and the other team realized they were not coming back. They folded and they let you play; it happens. Other than the fullbacks, there was nothing exciting about ManU’s play. Id pay to watch Zlatan because the man is a myth and is capable of scoring from anywhere, at anytime. The rest of the team, including Pogba, played without any idea of how to penetrate an organized defense. Rooney, bless his heart, feels like he has to dictate the tempo and backs up, all the way to the center circle, to get the ball. Had Bertrand played, Valencia wouldn’t have had such an impressive showing, as he kept beating the teenager on the right flank. But, this is par for the course with Mourinho. ManU will be tough to beat, you will play counterattacking soccer most of the time, as you really don’t have creative players who can unlock packed defenses, Zlatan will score winners because he is Zlatan and maybe, just maybe, you will make it to the top four. This team will get exposed against the first quality side they play, especially away. I would pray for Luke Shaw and Zlatan to remain healthy the entire year; without those two, ManU is cooked…
