The incredible number of people making $100,000 or more a year that have nothing in the bank
Paul Dughi

I read the study, and was dubious about the conclusions drawn because if I remember correctly, the question was “How much do you have in your bank account,” and if you have more than a couple thousand in your bank account, you should probably move it to a brokerage account, 401(k) or IRA.
If the question asked “How much do you have saved for the future?” I would be less skeptical.
