A new medium

Getting better by thinking with my words

Within North Kingdom, I’m thinking and sharing a lot about how people and society behave and interact with the things around them. Yet I wish that I was thinking and sharing aloud more than I do. I tried to do something on Tumblr, but it never felt like an appropriate place for the stories and experiences I wanted to share. To be honest, it was a bit devaluing to see my personal and professional thoughts stacked between animated GIFs, memes, superficial visuals, and FuckYeah whatever posts… so I deleted them.

Personally, writing is something I want to become better at. You can say that writing is my kryptonite. In fact, growing up in school I use to hate English class so much that I would tell my mom that I just wanted to draw pictures and design things rather than do anything with writing when I grew up. But I want to become more comfortable with writing, which is why I am moving my thoughts and stories here to Medium. The clean design with a pure focus on words is how I plan to work with it.

And now I am here. Eager to write. Share what I know.
