CATCHING FROZEN WOLVES

These wolves walk in a snowy wonderland.

Wolves don’t really howl at the moon. They do howl to rally the pack and let other wolves know where they are. The sound can carry up to 10 kilometers, even in dense forests.

There was an amazing pack of wolves at the Calgary Zoo that I was lucky enough to see up and about. I love how they moved together and were so attentive to the noises and people around them. The cold didn’t seem to bother them. (anyway)
