I recently saw Sunset Blvd for the first time and absolutely loved it. Almost Famous and Misery are great too. I was a huge Stephen King fan as a kid and still really admire him. I’d also have to add Adaptation, not only because it’s hilarious but buried in there is a valuable message that appealing to a broader audience does not necessarily mean selling your soul or betraying your artistic vision.
