A different kind of blog?

First of all — let me say: welcome! We are about to embark on a journey together — you and I. At this very moment, you may be asking yourself, “why is this blog going to be different?” If this describes where your mental processes are attuned to, I would like you know that I was posing it as more of a question than a statement. And why is that, exactly?

Because I know nothing about blogs or blogging! That, my friend, is a flat fact. Now that I think of it — I don’t think I’ve ever read a single blog. Nevertheless, here we are. There’s no turning back now. I have no idea what I’m doing!

It is my understanding that blogs are typically designed to appeal to or discuss topics of practically anything and everything. That’s exactly what I aim to do with this blogging experience. Think of it as a “variety show” of sorts. One day I’m going to talk about things happening in my life, and the next day I may be diving headfirst into the wide world of explosive leaps in tampon technology. Shit may be get weird. You’ve been warned.

These blogs are *not* recommended for those who have a gentle sense of humor and do not wish to push the limits of the darker and stranger side of comedy. These are *not* recommended for those that are easily upset, offended, or dislike profanity. These shits are *not* recommended for lock-step conformists who blindly believe that America is incapable of fault, and that we are the kings and queens of the world. If any of these deal-breakers resonate with you — LEAVE NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE.

Alas, I appeal to you to join me in this journey! You can expect a few things in my blogs: there will be humor, you’ll never know what to expect in the next blog, and hopefully it will be educational and insightful. More importantly, the blogs will be real, raw, and rooted in the common human experience. It’s like the lovechild of a reality show with a lengthy text message. I will have successfully captured the minds of many types of addicts: electronics, television, non-fiction bookworm, the dark humorist, and (God willing) — the Mexicans.

In my first blog, I will be giving you a history of myself and insight into my daily life. I hope you’ll join me — and if you don’t, I don’t really give a damn.
