I TESTED TASTE OF FINE PALATE RESTAURANT IN PHILLY — Fine Palate Restaurant

Located in Center City Philadelphia, at 15th and Locust, Fine Palate Restaurant is my new favorite eating spot in the city. I discovered here on of our corporate private dinners; it was truly amazing. Then I made a reservation for my wife`s birthday dinner which also came out to be unforgettable.
The foods are just amazing. They have fantastic tapas; Cioppino `The Fisherman`s soup’ is a must-try. Spanish Octopus braised and seared, sunchoke, Kabosu kosho, olives, fennel is perfection.

My wife, being a veggie also had a hard time choosing from broad veggie alternatives. She just fell in love with spaghetti squash cacio pepea. Some other time she tried her chance with Okonomiyaki, the Japanese pizza and bingo! She felt like heaven!…
The side orders, handmade burrata or Thai coconut curry are also excellent. Their wine list is exceptional, but I recommend you guys to go first with the house red and white wine. They are terrific!

Just when you think you can’t eat anymore, Fine Palate offers a range of special desserts, including a unique twist on southern banana pudding-topped with caramelized meringue-that would make a French pastry chef swoon.
The last but not the least, the atmosphere is sophisticated but, at the same time, almost homey, making Fine Palate a very pleasant dining experience.
This is the “real deal’’ folks! And fortunately, you really don’t have to save up for it.

Located at 231 S. 15th Street between Walnut & Locust; tel. (267) 318 7971 (http://finepalategroup.com/), Fine Plate is a marvelous experience for the gourmet and the gourmand.
