A Hard Earned Lesson

Over the past few weeks, some of our earliest customers have sent us fascinating, fun and incredible stories that highlight a moment they’ve had with their kids regarding money. We picked out a few favorites to share with you so you know that you are not alone with all your experiences! Welcome to Finnest’s Family Finnancials.

Volume 3:

“My little boy had a twenty dollar bill and went into a store to pick out something for himself. There was nothing there that he really wanted so after walking around for a little bit, we left. On the way out he checked his pocket and the bill he had was gone. As a parent I didn’t know what to do. Do I replace it? I mean, my heart just broke for how sad he was. Then I thought, if I replace it, he’ll just lose it again, so I decided not to do it. I decided to let him learn this hard lesson now with only $20 and looking back today I can conclude that is payed off very well.”
