Well those are a lot of questions, mostly best answered over a craft beer… ;)

I would say that Christians should definitely vote — I think that’s important and I don’t really take issue with voting for a certain person/party based on faith-formed opinions (although if Americans could look beyond just The Two Issues then that’d be a start). For example, I vote more liberally since they generally set systems in place to care for the poor which I think is important and that belief comes from faith. So, when I vote for policies that care for the poor, I am, in part, encouraging the Kingdom to come.

I think religious freedom is huge and Russell Moore of the SBC talks brilliantly about this: A government that can legislate against mosques will eventually legislate against churches and so freedom of religion should be something Christians are passionate about which I think acknowledges the pluralist whilst valuing our own belief….
