Finturi raises €2M to make invoice financing secure, lowcost, quick and easy

Finturi — A blockchain start-up based out of the Netherlands, announced that it raised an angel investment of €2M from industry prominent NetSam Participaties BV. Finturi plans to invest these funds to further fuel its product development and growth.

Founded in September 2018, Finturi is on a mission to help businesses grow. It brings to the market — a new way of invoice financing. It connects businesses with financiers and helps businesses borrow money against invoices. It provides financiers with a platform where they can lend money to businesses and earn honest returns in short term. Finturi uses technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence to make invoice financing secure, low-cost, quick and easy.

Johannes Brouwer, CEO Finturi said, “Even though small and medium enterprises contribute significantly to the economy, it is often challenging for them to raise working capital. The newer the business, the higher difficulty it faces to raise working capital. We want to solve this problem. We want to build a robust product that enables businesses to get a loan against invoices within 24 hours. We want to provide financiers with a platform for investing in invoices with minimum hassle”.

The lead investor from NetSam Participaties BV who recently exited a SaaS company said, “Blockchain technology combined with Artificial Intelligence has massive potential of eliminating inefficiencies in the current financial processes. It can save costs as well as make processes faster and secure. I am extremely happy to see that one of our portfolio companies is leading the blockchain revolution. Finturi currently is working on building an invoice finance platform connecting businesses and financiers which is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2019. The team said that a later version of the platform will be completely peer-to-peer and will also include clients of businesses. Finturi’s end goal is to optimize entire supply chain financing with the use of blockchain and artificial intelligence.

Nestled in the Hague, Finturi currently has a 12 member team, with a good mix of developers, product, business and marketing professionals. Through the combined efforts of its team, and by combining its long-cultivated expertise in building blockchain products for fintech industry, Finturi is confident to be the world’s number one invoice financing platform.
