Thanks for writing this, great post. Regardless of gender, vulnerability has to be part of great leadership.

As others have commented, I don’t think it’s just silicon valley issue. It has different flavours around the world. Certainly though, as a Brit in America, I’ve seen the fake it till you make it attitude more than ever and it seems to disconnect people. As hard as the vulnerability route is, I think it’s the better one. Andy Crouch has a great book on this topic, Strong and Weak.
