I agree that the citizens of the world should come together and help build a new economic system which will benefit us all and move us forward.

With that said, I find it odd that this piece is missing what I would consider a crucial component towards how Capitalism will evolve over the next few years, this component being renewable energy.

This is not to mention the technologies coming down the line which will more than likely change everything we do, these technologies include but are not limited to: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Nano-Technology and Synthetic-Biology.

As other commentators mentioned “The stone age didn’t end due to the lack of stone…” , given the current trends in technology I suspect that in the next few years there will be some significant developments which will make us question the current prediction models for what will happen in the market and to Capitalism as we know it.

Theoretically we could advance our civilization to the stage where we would utilize all of the sun’s energy! so we still have a very long way to go.

I would really be interested in hearing your thoughts on how emerging technologies are going to impact our incumbent economic system(s) in the near future, cheers.
