I don’t believe the studies of GMO foods actually address the way in which they effect our bodies on a long term basis. For example if you isolate the active ingredient in a plant for medicinal purposes the end results in side effects. The whole plant is biologically stable. These GMO products are questionable as to how they will effect our bodies on a biochemical level over a period of time. We injest so much non-food that we are becoming sick as a nation driving up health costs and dying younger. Drought resistant is a non issue. Let’s quit trying to grow foods that require water in the deserts. Pretty is not important when it comes to nutrition. Super gluten is causing sensitivity. Sugar substitutes are causing weight gain. What a mess!
