I am a huge NFL, especially of my home Seattle Seahawks! But it deeply worries me the abuse that all players are putting their bodies through. In the name of what? Our entertainment? Getting paid? Why? I cheer and cuss loudly, get very excited and involved in the plays and yet every time one of you guys takes a hit, I flinch. I know that your future will be determined by what happens on that field each day, in a way that most will never understand. The movie ‘Concussion’ is coming out soon and I hope that the consistent dripping of people who are concerned will start to intercept the mainstream. Having no idea what can or should change, or how, I still hope for progress and safety of your bodies, your lives and yourselves.
