Review — Crush Crush (via Sad Panda Studios)

A dating sim! What? Yes. I’ve never played such madness before. Welcome to my first foray into this hole…

I’m assuming the point is to continue to build up ‘cred’ with these girls so you can get the nookie… however, it takes a lot longer than expected to get more out of these girls than usual.

You pretty much start out as an ugly mo’fo. You have to EARN the right to take these girls on a date. When do the girls put in work? Huh?

Some reviews on this game:

CompleteGameReviews.com interview with the game designers: “A little polish and charm can go a long way to distinguish your game from others — along with whether you feel you’re sincerely adding novelty or value to the market. Crush Crush is our attempt to offer something fun and flirty, and even beyond its genre those qualities tend to be lacking from most mainstream game experiences.”

InvisionCommunity.co.uk said: “As a summary, Crush Crush is definitely one of the best Nutaku games that I have played. Maybe it’s just because I’m a hopeless romantic, but it’s more likely because it’s simple but effective and it’s more enjoyable and fun and allows you to play and think for yourself and go about things as you would normally do. All in all, I would fully recommend giving it a go, if you have some spare time on your hands then give it a try!”

Roll GREED on this game. If you’re down with the anime dating type games, this might be just up your alley. As for me. I’ll pass…
