I’ve always been a dreamer

Used to sit & move beyond here

To a world loosely shaped

Around a place right now

But more there. A space yet to exist

But in my mind as wide as the

Night’s sky. Gentle moonlight

Projected across puffs of promise

In a navy vacuum.

What if I could live up there, if

When I stepped into my white world

There was a solid floor that kept

Me from falling. Walls that made

It a house, windows that gave me a view.

Not what I’d need after all,

A box.

But still, I want to watch from above

While they sleep and I fly.
