Building a content of work!

Like most writers I’ve been trying to figure out how to broaden my audience- bring more people to my insane ramblings and rants… so I decided to share some of the best advice I’ve gotten from top writers- just keep doing what your doing… keep writing, keep growing, and keep creating

Instead of trying to grow your audience- manage the one you already have… a lot of people are so focused on- I’ve got be the best… I need everyone to follow what I’m doing and know what I’m writing…

Doing that is hard in every aspect but, managing the readers you already have isn’t… they already know your content and what to expect out of you as a creator… I always try to remain unbiased in whatever I’m covering for the articles sake…

But Usually I have my own Fandom on whoever I’m covering… I still ask the questions I want to know the answers too… I ask for my audience as well but, in general it’s my own curiosity that leads me to ask for an interview.

Not Being Blinded By Success And Fame

Everybody wants that spotlight… that moment of self satisfaction. And it’s hard not to want it… we’re all only human I’ve met people I thought I would never meet… while in my mind I thought I was cool… I know I was a silly fangirl- that makes it weird for whoever your fangirling over… while it’s flattering at that point you can’t consciously call yourself a peer…

I was like most people on youtube- you insult whoever because you never expect them to answer your comment… when they do you just have to insert foot to mouth… I’m not the only one that it’s happened to… I see it on a day to day basis…

“This video sucks…” then the creator replies and almosy every time the criticizing fans reply with “ oh… I never thought you would reply… really love the video…” I think it’s just our way of being part of the creator’s world… demoralizing and challenging the creator makes them real in our world- A screen is always between us and the creator- so voicing any opinion… especially a negative one causes the creator to take pause and notice the audience memeber… even if it’s negatively… the audience member is just glad they were noticed

In the end it makes for a great story the time you called someone a “jag off” and they replied… I guess you can kiss being their friend good bye though… I don’t have much to base these opinions on… except for trolling YouTube comments… seeing it and having it happen to myself but, I’ve heard many creators make mention of it…

Making An Impact

Like most writers- I want my writing to have an impact… there’s no such thing as instant gratification… I’ve heard that all my life- it actually is terrible that there isn’t such a thing… I’ve never wanted anything gifted to me anyways its part of my pride… my pride gets in the way a lot but, unless I earned it… I don’t want it…

The whole reason I started writing this rant of an article- is to let you know my thoughts on things. And break the fourth wall a bit between your screen and me… share some of the advice I’ve gotten along the way… find someone you look up too- even if it might drive them crazy. And ask them their opinion…

It will mean more than you think it does… being told that’s terrible- is a good thing… so many times people think “ oh he’s just a jerk… what does he know?” instead embrace the opinon- take what’s negative and turn it into your own twist of a positive… you might be thinking “what does he know?”

I know nothing Jon snow… and I may still be a terrible writer- I’ve taken every negative comment or criticism about my writing… tweaked it to my advantage to be better… if your perfect at what you do… you can’t become better… and let’s face it no one likes a perfect tool…

That’s it for this ramble of rant that makes no sense… as always thank you so much for reading! And I’ll catch you in the next one… somewhere in between the lines…
