Why Your Haters Are Useful

There comes a time in life when someone will disagree with you. The thing to think about is if you’re ready to take the criticism. When you’re on the internet there are lots of people who will agree and disagree with you. Because everyone can be anonymous or isn’t face-to-face with you, they don’t need to have a filter. There is no consequence for being a bully so there isn’t much those individuals have to hold back on.

You can have a variety of different motivations for being a hater. The biggest one is to have disgust for an individual. If you don’t like someone you can at least voice your opinion. But that is usually only on the surface level. Haters usually have deeper insecurities which they haven’t addressed. Whether they don’t have anything going for them or they are jealous. It’s important to ignore those things.

But to know the difference between a hater and a critic is very important. Those who critique you may be very harsh in their point of view and that is a good thing. It can help you grow as a person. Feedback is good as long as it is well thought out. A hater is usually very loud in their message with no arguments to back it up. It’s a way for them to feel important, knowing that they can get under your skin.
