Increase Sales By “80/20ing” Your Etsy shop.

Have you heard of the 80/20 principle? 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts.

80% of your workout results come from 20% of your activity. 80% of your fat comes from 20% of your diet. 80% of your sales success comes from 20% of your effort.

I’m a firm believer in this principle, whether it involves life or business. Since I’ve tried to live my life by it, I’ve seen exponential growth in many areas from business to relationships to fitness.

Implementing this principle is easy: Find the 20% of things that are working best and increase your focus on them.

If you have an Etsy shop, like ours, that already has a considerable amount of sales, then I’m sure you know what sells best.

Focus on that product! Don’t get sidetracked.

But it doesn’t have to just a product. If you make jewelry, it could be a certain stone. Put that stone in other pieces. If you sew, it could be a certain fabric. Use that fabric on other items.

80/20 sounds like common sense, yet very few people implement it. They end up getting sidetracked, put too much time and effort into things that don’t work, and then get frustrated by a lack of results.
