· Open Outlook on Android or iPhone.
· Click on the account icon in the upper left corner to open the side menu.
· Open Outlook Settings by clicking the gear in the lower left corner of the window.
· In the account list, click your Hotmail account.
· Scroll down and tap Delete account.
· If you have deleted your account, return to the home screen and tap the icon again. Then tap the plus sign on the left side of the envelope.
A pop-up window will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click Add to add your Hotmail account again.
Hotmail does not work with Gmail on Android
If you don’t need a Hotmail account in the Gmail app:
Open the Gmail app.
· Click on the profile photo in the upper right corner of the page.
· Click Manage accounts on this device.
· Click on your Hotmail account.
· Click delete account.
· Delete your accounts, click the Gmail profile tab again and click “Add another account.”
Add your Hotmail account again.
Hotmail does not work with Gmail on iPhone
The process of deleting and regaining access to a Gmail account on iPhone is slightly different than on Android.
· Open options -> Messages, contacts and calendars
· Click on your Hotmail account.
· Click delete account.
· To delete your account, return to the previous menu and click Account.
