Thesis. Quad copter, Machine Learning, NodeJS, Machine Vision. Advance technologies that strengthens the future of Disaster Response

As September approaches, our undergraduate thesis is coming to an end, but before this ending let’s start with the beginning.

Our proposed undergraduate thesis is a Quadcopter equipped with likely materials that could ease out the problem in Disaster Response in the Philippines. The Philippines is a country that is stricken by different types of calamities multiple times. Ranging from typhoons, forest fires, earthquakes, and just the seasonal downpour could sometimes live out a scar in the minds of the people. Life’s lost no matter what we do and we want to reduce it or diminish the number of life lost by using advance technological innovations present today and aid every filipino in surviving after a calamity.

In spite of the negativity, we are planning to uplift the country’s disaster response and remove the threat of losing life even in the aftermath of a calamity. Empowering the different Disaster Response Group and increasing their morale with the help of this thesis, but not only limited to the user of the quadcopter, most specifically to those victims who haven’t recovered yet and still in brink of disaster.

So, as of now, I could only discuss up to this much, we are still in the process of creating this awesome project and once after I would write about it. But obviously that would be for another time.
