So lately I’ve been thinking about a more plant based meal plan. Earlier in life I thought not eating meat was a super weird thing to do. It took me a long time to realize that vegetarian still consume animal byproducts where as vegans never consume or use animal byproducts. Now let’s fast forward to me and my thoughts on health and fitness. Lets be honest what male wouldn’t like to look like Arnold before the Terminator films of the 80’s or “The Rock” of the 2000’s. Slowly fitness is scaling up in body building but scaling down in male fitness. Either way you must consume a ton of carbohydrates and protiens that have actually been proven to be harmful if taken unproportionally. Body builder and athletes drop dead from heart attacks yearly, so what hope does that leave you. Many of them also play around with insulin spiking which kills million s worldwide yearly through diebetes.
After attempting many diet I slowly figured out people get skinnier from eating less and doing lots of cardio, but not everyone does this. After working at my previous job of 10 years I was exposed to people of all ages and nationalities. I slowly started realizing why certain culture of people don’t face the health issues of a modern American culture. People that aren’t native to our country adapt to some of the food we eat as American s but, they never forget the food from their country. People from the Eastern hemisphere usually live longer healthier lives even if they explore fitness and bodybuilding. People of the world ate just now recognizing what other countries have survived on for over thousands of years. There’s more food in our own backyard, or there could be more food for us to consume that’s cleaner for our bodies and assist us in overall consistent health/fitness goals.
There’s is nothing wrong being a vegan or a vegetarian because there’ tons of culture s that have survived this way. So is there something wrong with a vegan bodybuilder or a bodybuilder that consumes more plants and clean carbs than meat. No you now actually have bodybuilders like Brian Turner and Jon Venus, Mike Rashid that are slowly becoming huge YouTube sensations because of their new veiw on body building and overall mental/physical health. You now even have vegan athletes on a larger scale NFL players like RB Arian Foster and DL David Carter have very demanding roles as a multimillionaire athletes who are paid by physical performance only. What happened to these meat eaters? Well they did what worked for them.
I have come to love the journey for all people in healthier living. My former roommate had a massive heart attack at the again of twenty eight years old. pHe was never obese. He was a very hard worker and a good person who ate heavy fast food meals and almost paid the price of his life. After 2 heart transplants he now is a forty year old male that is roughly 5’10 230 who is highly active person who eat what he wants but he depends on the nature around him to fill his belly versus scarfing down a whole cow or pig a week. He explores various foods from around the world in his kitchen and makes healthier options on every meal keeping fruits and vegetables high and meat sources lower. I like meat but I realize I don’t need so much of it to survive so I’m choosing a more plant based diet to empower my longevity of life and if I lift some weights it will make a better me as I switch over to a more plant based diet.
