FRee eLeTRICITY
Lets do a little joined up thinking. We all want a better world. We need to make electricity free for all, it being the most environmentally friendly energy source. Just think of all the benefits that would follow.
The infrastructure is in place already, it doesn’t cost a great deal to maintain. Government should take on the onerous duty of generation , supply and distribution. That way we can get sensible production without too much damage to the environment. I am talking about geothermal, thorium reactors and where appropriate hydro,solar and wind.
Maybe a Dyson Sphere is not too practical but a thorough thought out plan to generate electricity as per Tesla’s plan to utilize the potential difference on earth between the cosmos and ground could work.
Why has it not been done before? There has not been a desire to disrupt the economic order, that is why. We can freely spend on bombs and armies but not on bettering ourselves. Are we collective dummies , including those that know better or cleverer than us?
Most people I meet do not want to fight. On the contrary they are friendly and welcoming as any human is as it is hard wired in us. It is only politicians that create the differences and animosity between us. Do away with the political class and we are onto a winner.
Let us start by the provision of free electricity for all, these are the kind of bloodless revolutions that are now needed to take us forward. In the past it was easy to see who the enemy was. Kill the King. The King is dead , long live the King. The enemy is now hidden in offshore trusts in faceless corporate bodies who have been given a sort of living spirit entity. If they care so much, how about paying your taxes Mr Faceless Anonymous Corporation? Or even funding the above.
