- We are rebranding from Copper to Fjord Foundry.
- We are releasing NFT LBP launches, via Fjord NFTs.
Rebrand
We created Fjord Foundry because we believe in a world where decentralized, permissionless engagement creates the ideal conditions for bold ideas to thrive. We also believe in giving individuals and communities the power to shape a future they want to see created.
The rebranding of Copper to Fjord Foundry wasn’t an easy decision, and we partly did so to avoid confusion with a fellow business involved in the crypto space (who were very supportive throughout the process).
However we also saw it as an opportune time to share with our audience the true potential and power that our platform can have now and into the future
Fjord Foundry’s mission is to empower new communities. To serve as a place of origin for them and help them through their growth. Over the last year we’ve proved the power of our platform through hundreds of new projects that started with us and we’ll continue on the path of building the necessary infrastructure to ensure that new innovative ideas keep thriving. We welcome all of you to join us on this journey, because when it comes to the next frontier — Discovery Starts Here.

Anyone in the world should have the ability to share and build a community around an idea that they truly believe in. That is the foundation Fjord has been built upon.
It shouldn’t be limited to niche crypto products either. Any idea can have a community formed around it via token distribution. We hope that the latest updates to our brand will share with the world that the level of opportunity is enormous and ready to be taken by the next generation of innovators, for those who are currently embedded in and outside of the crypto bubble.
Our logotype is crafted with flowing geometry, evocative of the price curve that is synonymous with our platform.
The Fjord Foundry name and landscape is symbolic of the discovery process and the adventure that projects and participants embark upon.
We’re for the adventurers, the big picture thinkers and the ones who aren’t afraid to take risks.
While the front end and the branding may look different, rest assured projects and participants will continue to enjoy the same user-friendly, robust platform that has commanded the highest market share in the space over the last 12 months.
The future is Fjord. We can’t wait to see the next generation of ideas that begin on Fjord.
NFTs
On that note, we are excited to share part two of our announcement, the release of our NFT LBP product — Fjord Drops.
Until now, LBPs have only been used for ERC-20 tokens on EVM compatible chains. Now, a whole new world of permissionless price discovery is available for NFTs.
Since NFTs have exploded in popularity, minting NFTs has become a daunting process. Gas wars, sniper bots and bad actors have left the everyday user unable to join their favourite NFT projects and communities from inception.
Fjord Drops is innovating the NFT mint process, providing users equal opportunity and access to their favourite NFT projects. Utilizing the popular LBP price discovery process for bootstrapping funds and enabling token distribution, the Fjord Foundry team is now revolutionizing the same method to empower exclusive, community first, open and transparent NFT drops.
No more gas wars, no more sniper bots, no more grinding on Discords to gain whitelist access. Fjord Drops is the most empowering and sustainable way to launch your NFT project.
For now, our NFT launches will be gated due to us being in a beta testing phase. Once we have completed the beta testing, we look forward to opening up permissionless NFT drops to the world.
