Thanks again. This would make a great epitaph for the russiagate tombstone. The whole affair not only shows that the establishment media and politicians are evil but worst of all how easily it is to brainwash the masses. Luckily we have the internet which is an unprecedented tool in the fight against propaganda. Most of the people brainwashed will never see the truth. Likely they will forget about the whole thing (as the media wishes them to do, their short memories are the best gift ever for them).

Reminds me of a poll that asked the American people if they had first believed the WMD and links to al Qaeda lies that the media and gov used to push for war in Iraq. We know that 70% of Americans supported it but only 50% admit they bought those lies. It’s easier for a fool to manufacture a false memory than it is to come to a realization that he’s a fool.

We need to keep reminding people that their gullibility and complicity with evil has consequences for the whole human race, for future generations and the other creatures that live on Earth.

I am reminded of a story from the 50s. One of the chief rocket scientists who founded NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs was a Chinese American named Tsien Hsue-Shen. During the McCarthy era, he was falsely accused of being a spy for communist China. There was a wave of racism, xenophobia and “red scare” hysteria like there is now. The FBI tried to prosecute him but had no evidence. He was so angered at his mistreatment by the media, government and the public after all his service to the country he defected to China where he did not work on spaceship rockets which was his first love. Instead he built China’s first ICBMs which are now pointed at the US.

Ignorance, xenophobia, racism, imperialism must be confronted. Confront them in the media but also among those who are duped. The media would not have the influence it does if it did not have such a gullible audience.
