Consider that if this model and analysis you used were to have existed back during the early days of the Woodward and Bernstein work on the Watergate break-in story, would it have classified their stories as “false narrative” from a fringe source? It’s worth noting that the Washington Post was not one of the more highly regarded newspapers back then.
Or would it have included their allegations?
Are you trying to define alternative news by virtue of the reporting agency? Or are you trying to define it by virtue of first hand accounts? I’m not trying to squash this methodology; I am trying to understand its limits.
