Ms. Karenina, these were excellent rebuttals to those who use these terms to harass others. Is it really so wrong that an Hispanic chef should try his hand at sushi? Or that an American should try to excel at Tuvan throat singing?

It is these little acts of borrowing from other cultures that knits humanity together, builds bridges, and makes war between cultures less likely. It is the intersection of different cultures that create new art, music, literature, and cuisine. Harassment of those who step outside their own culture isn’t just wrong. It is the evil of anti-intellectual thinking.
