Time to Bust Out

After I published my last article on Pigeon hole 101, a lot of people asked me what to do when you are down or when you have no energy to carry on. We have all gone through that! Sometimes, taking a break from it all, however small, will help to get your energy back. So let’s go and do it. Watch a Ted Talk and get inspired to break out of your mood. Another idea is to read an article that will help you get your creative juices flowing. No matter what it is, you can do it!

Sometimes you have to let this slow period run its course as if you were sick with a common cold. This has happened to me a lot of times, and sometimes I revisit that time and wonder what I did to over come it. We tend to move so fast we forget why were doing something. Once this funk kicks in, it is hard to get out of it. No matter what, you can pull out of it and it won’t last forever. In other words, do something that will benefit your mind. The nature of the activity is not as important as the principle — whatever gets you back in the saddle, so to speak, is what really matters.

This feeling will go away even though it sometimes feels like it it won’t. So the next time you feel that funk coming along, don’t sweat it — embrace it and bust out the good popcorn and your warm socks and allow your body and mind to take in the rest you need.
