Thanks for your reply. I see your point, I was also struggling to use a few table spoons of sugar every few days, but the bacteria and yeasts in the water-kefir I make seem to eat most of the sugar, especially during the second fermentation, to produce lactic-acids and carbon dioxide, and more water-kefir granules. I have the impression my gut is happier since I drink it.
