FLETA at the Beyond Blocks Summit in Bangkok

On November 26th and 27th FLETA attended the Beyond Blocks Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. FLETA was a principle sponsor of the summit. The Beyond Blocks Summit was part of a larger Blockchain Week. Beyond Blocks Blockchain Week was made up of five days of activities held in the heart of Bangkok, made up of amazing networking opportunities, meetups, parties and a lot more.
FLETA was truly honored to be a part of the summit as a principle sponsor. The event was truly a concentration of some of the most important people in the blockchain industry. The event is smaller scale than other summits and conferences, and there is a strict screening process for attendees of the summit and many applicants are refused if they don’t meet the criteria. Therefore, playing such a large role at the summit was truly a testament to our validity as a player in the blockchain industry and platform provider. It’s really one of the most high-quality conferences. There were so many opportunities for networking and sharing our vision with conference attendees. These attendees included many Venture Capital Firms, DApp Developers, and Law Firms to name a few. The FLETA Lounge provided many of our new friends and acquaintances a chance to give their feet a rest and get a free 10 to 15 minute Thai massage.
On November 26th, FLETA and application security provider Entersoft signed a MOU together. The MOU with Entersoft will be enable FLETA to take their security to another level. On November 27th, FLETA and renowned Japanese blockchain media company Coin Tokyo entered into a strategic partnership. Along with the strategic partnership, two of the co-founders of Coin Tokyo, Akira Munekiyo and Yabo Cui, joined the FLETA team as advisors. The partnership and the addition of the new advisors will help to increase FLETA’s footprint specifically in Japan, as well as Asia as a whole and Europe.

11월 26일 플레타는 비욘드 블록 서밋에 참가하기 위해 태국의 방콕을 방문했습니다. 전 세계 블록체인 업계의 리더들이 참가하는 비욘드 블록은 일본 동경과, 대한민국 서울에 이어 이번엔 방콕에서 열렸습니다.
플레타는 비욘드 블록 방콕 서밋(이하 BBBKK)의 핵심 파트너로 참가하여 TLDR과 함께 BBBKK를 진행했습니다. 이번 행사에서는 IOHK CEO 찰스 호스킨슨(Charles Hoskinson), Binance CFO 웨이 저우(Wei Zhou) 등 50여명의 세계적인 블록체인 인사들이 연사로 나섰으며 총 50여개국 2000여명의 참가자들이 행사장을 방문했습니다.
BBBKK는 방콕 블록체인 위크에서도 큰 행사였습니다.
방콕 블록체인 위크는 5일동안 네트워킹 이벤트, 밋업, 파티 등 많은 활동들이 포함된 행사였습니다. 플레타는 이러한 서밋에 핵심 파트너로 함께할 수 있어 영광이었습니다. BBBKK는 블록체인 산업과 관계되어 있는 분들이 집중적으로 참여하는 행사였습니다. 행사 규모 및 참석자 수는 기존 다른 행사들보다 적었지만, 행사 참여자, 스폰서 모두 기준에 부합한 분들만이 참석할 수 있었습니다. 때문에 BBBKK에 핵심 파트너로 참여한 것은 블록체인 산업에서 플레타가 플랫폼으로서의 위상을 높이는 일이었습니다.
이번 서밋은 정말 수준 높은 행사중 하나였습니다. 컨퍼런스 참석자들과 네트워킹 할 수 있고 저희의 비전을 공유할 수 있는 기회들이 너무나도 많았습니다. 그 참석자들중엔 벤쳐캐피탈, DApp 개발자, 법률가들도 있었습니다.
플레타는 비욘드 블록의 핵심 파트너로서 플레타는 전시장의 메인 공간에 플레타의 오픈 부스를 설치하여 수많은 사람들의 이목을 끌었습니다. 특히 2개의 모니터에서 재생된 플레타의 소개영상과 새로운 컨센서스 PoF(Proof-of-Formulation)의 구동 원리에 대한 시뮬레이션에 사람들의 관심이 쏠렸습니다.
또한 플레타는 라운지를 운영하여 부스를 방문해주신 참석자들에겐 10분에서 15분가량 마사지 받을 수 있는 공간도 마련했습니다. 이 마사지 라운지는 서밋 참가자들이 그들의 파트너들을 데리고 플레타의 부스에 와서 플레타에 대해 알고 가는 계기가 되었습니다.
