FLETA in Malta
On Oct 16th, FLETA embarked on a business trip to Malta, in order to finish preparation for the “Malta Blockchain Summit”.
On the first day, FLETA had a discussion with the CEO Eman Pulis and the executive director Sintija of Sigma, an official Summit sponsor, regarding the event process. As an official partner in Asia of the MBS, FLETA will host two days of the VIP networking event, operate three different booths, and give two speeches on technology and marketing.
Please look forward to FLETA’s performance in Malta Blockchain Summit, Europe’s biggest Blockchain event, where more than 5000 officials and investors in the industry are expected to attend.
We met with booth manufacturing company BigExhibit’s CEO Jean for a final checkup on our booth design. FLETA visited MBS’s designated supplier BigExhibit’s office in person to discuss FLETA’s booth design, and also finished preparation for the VIP Networking Event and Champagne Brunch Party it will host.
As an Official Partner in Asia of MBS, and the first South Korean firm to establish corporation Malta, FLETA has its whole heart and soul invested in the event.
Additionally, FLETA opened a meeting with the chairman of “Wyzer”, Dr. Abdalla Kablan, as well as the co-founder Daniel Greg. Dr. Abdalla who is a senior technology advisor of the Maltese government, created the draft regulation of DLT (Distributed ledger technology). He is also an influential local expert who is currently fulfilling an active role between the public and private sectors regarding Blockchain ecosystem establishment.
FLETA is the first South Korean Blockchain firm to establish a corporation in Malta. All of the team members will eventually migrate to the Island. Ethan Choe, the Team Leader of Finance had already taken up residence in Malta since early October in order to prepare lodging and work facilities.
The last quarter of 2018 and the first quarter of 2019 are a momentous period for FLETA. Please look forward to FLETA’s potential during this period, including the successful migration to Malta as well as a stellar performance and participation in the Malta Blockchain Summit which is Europe’s biggest Blockchain event.

10월 16일 플레타는 “몰타 블록체인 서밋” 최종 준비를 위해 몰타로 3차 출장을 떠났습니다.
첫째 날 플레타는 서밋 주관사인 시그마 대표 이만 펄 리스와 총괄 진행자 신티야 와 서밋 진행 관련 최종 회의를 마쳤습니다. 몰타 블록체인 서밋의 공식 아시아 파트너로서, 플레타는 기술 및 마케팅 부분 2번의 스피치와 파트너사 포함 총 3곳의 부스를 운영하고, 이틀간 주관 브이아이피 네트워킹 행사를 진행합니다.
몰타 블록체인 서밋은 5000명 이상의 블록체인 관계자, 투자자 등 관련 업계 인사들이 참여하는 유럽 최대의 블록체인 이벤트로써, 행사 기간 동안 FLETA의 활약을 기대해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
다음으로 플레타는 부스 제작 업체 빅이그지빗의 대표 진을 만나 몰타 블록체인 서밋 디자인 관련 사항을 최종적으로 확인했습니다.
행사의 지정 부스 업체인 빅이그지빗의 사무실에 직접 방문하여 플레타의 파트너사인 버디와 엠플러스를 포함한 업체들과 플레타 부스 디자인 관련 회의와, 플레타가 주관하는 브이아이피 네트워킹 행사 및 샴페인 브런치 파티 준비 또한 마쳤습니다.
플레타는 몰타 블록체인 서밋의 공식 아시아 파트너이자 한국 최초의 몰타 블록체인 법인회사로서, 유럽 최대 블록체인 축제인 몰타 블록체인 서밋에 심혈을 기울이고 있습니다.
추가로 플레타는 “와이져” 회장, 압달라 카블란 박사와 공동 설립자인 다니엘 그렉과 미팅을 했습니다. 기업가이자 핀테크 전문가인 압달라 박사는 몰타 정부의 선임 기술 고문으로 근무하면서 몰타에 대한 분산 원장 기술 규정 초안을 작성한 사람이며, 현재는 몰타 블록체인 생태계 구축과 관련해 정부와 민간을 오가며 폭넓은 활동을 하고 있는 영향력 있는 현지 전문가입니다.
플레타는 몰타에 최초로 법인을 설립하는 대한민국 블록체인 회사로써 실제로 모든 직원이 몰타로 이주할 예정이며, 10월 초부터 이은재 팀장이 플레타 전 직원들이 기거할 숙소, 제반 시설을 갖추려 먼저 몰타로 나가 준비 중에 있습니다.
