It seems we humans hang on to emotions that influence and affect our childhood; empathy being the most response. Of course, a child may not even recognize his/her interest until the occurrence calls to mind they are more than embedded thoughts.
Ideas spark within, from stories of orphans, and underdogs at the mercy of villains and the unfair social system.
Charles Dicken’s Characters: Copperfield, Pip and Oliver Twist has my curiosity for years. I infatuated after them long after the tale ended… But was that the end?
