There’s something bizarrely satisfying in saying “I’m very busy!”. Perhaps it helps us to feel on track and successful or maybe, important or wanted?
The real question is, are we being productive with our time? Are we bogged down by a million and one things to do? Or quietly procrastinating until the deadline is in sight?
Either way, many of us would love to use our time more efficiently and feel energised come the weekend. This is the precise reason why we’ve compiled these handy tricks for motivation. Whether you’re a busy student, parent or budding entrepreneur — Be warned: Side effects may include increased productivity and happiness!
To “Do-it!” List:

Balance your Brain & Body:

Make time for exercise — cycle to work, get out your yoga mat or go jogging. Whichever you choose, get a spring in your step to kick start your day. You can use your body to get your brain working at its best! Learn to use your posture to help focus your mind and perform your best.

There’s No Monster Under the Bed:

Don’t leave things on your to-do list for long. Quite often, things are not as big and scary as we imagine. Be sure to take on these tasks at the start of your day. Make that phone call, send the e-mail, write your proposal — the rest of your day will feel great once it’s done!

On Track?

Be sure to make time to review how you’re spending your time. Ask yourself: Am I on track with my life’s mission? Remind yourself of your goals and what is really important to you. This is vital to your own personal wellbeing and happiness.
