FLP Monthly Progress Report — September 2018
Dear FLP community,
Throughout the month of August 2018, the volume of FLP transactions within and outside Gameflip have grown tremendously! We’ve reached the milestone of over $1,000,000 USD in digital goods listed for FLP on Gameflip and a steady daily volume above $500,000 USD in the market. In September 2018, we will continue focused on facilitating FLP-based transactions and increasing its adoption through the development and deployment of new features to our platform, and key partnerships.
Development
Gameflip users will soon be able to convert their USD funds to FLP directly through their FLP Wallets on Gameflip.com. The feature allow for instantaneous conversion and do not require the user to have an ERC-20 wallet as the entire process happens within the Gameflip platform and outside of the blockchain.

When acquired through conversion, the USD amount converted in FLP is credited to the FLP Wallet and can be solely used for purchases within Gameflip.
The FLP conversion feature is being tested internally and its release is scheduled for September 2018 on Gameflip.com. The support for mobile will come shortly after in new versions of the Gameflip app for iOS and Android.
On a different note, August 2018 also marked the full launch of the Gameflip CLUB subscription plans. Sellers can now #jointheCLUB via multiple options, including the new Pro Club, Ultra Club and Bot Club. The subscription plans grant reduction in their sales commissions, as well as other benefits like VIP support and exclusive promotions. Partnerships
Aiming at a steady and long-term adoption of FLP, we at Gameflip are considering going back to our roots and self-publishing massively multiplayer games.
We are thrilled about this possibility to bring fun and proven games to new audiences. The Gameflip community would grow beyond the marketplace interactions, and gamers would experience first hand the benefits of playing a game in which the digital goods are allocated in the blockchain, powered by FLP. The initiative would also give us more freedom and quickness to develop our FLP SDK as we’d be able to prioritize its development along the roadmap of a live game we publish ourselves.
Starting a game publishing operation is not a simple task, yet this is something our team has done for over 10 years prior to founding Gameflip and FLP. We are confident that the challenges can be overcome without compromising our current operation and the benefits for FLP and the entire gaming community should be much greater.
We are already discussing publishing rights and opportunities with high-profile MMO developers from all around the globe and we hope to come out with about two key titles as a start. More news to come on our next update.
Finally, we’re happy to announce that the FLP staff is growing and we expect to continuously improve and extend our communications and educational campaigns about everything FLP-related to the global gaming community.
We thank you for your continuous support and stay tuned for more updates!
