We’re excited to announce that top European mobile and PC publisher Vavel Game Studios, formed by a team spun out of Kabam / Aftershock, has joined the FLP Early Access Program, which is an exclusive partnership for innovative publishers seeking to expand their business onto the blockchain. Only a handful of publishers are invited to the program, which provides:
1. Substantial incentive FLP tokens. By distributing these tokens, publishers enable their gamers to transact their digital goods in the Gameflip marketplace.
2. Exclusive early access to FLP SDK. This allows publishers to place their digital goods onto the blockchain and leverage smart contracts to execute fraud-free transactions.
3. Powerful new revenue stream. Publishers who integrate the FLP SDK receive a commission for every digital goods sale their gamers complete using the FLP crypto-token.
Vavel will integrate the FLP SDK with their flagship title, Imperium: Galactic War. Imperium is a PVP centric MMORTS for players who wish to take part in a competitive gameplay experience. The game premise is simple — players create a character, upgrade a starbase and attack and defend against other players and computer generated opponents that enter their sector. Players progress by improving their starbase, gaining resources by attacking NPCs and other enemy players. As players gain in power, enemy players look to slow or halt their progress for the sake of their own factions.
“The integration of the FLP SDK will enable our players to transact their valuable earned goods without the need to go to third party sites that provide little to no protection against fraud. One of the main features we plan to implement is an in-game avatar auction system that will heavily rely on the transactional functionality provided by Gameflip.” said Vavel CEO John Balestrieri.
