I fully agree with you. One can never be sure who conducted the research that lead to the writing of a newspaper article. Comparing different news sources will most likely get you closer to the truth, but you can never be sure. I came to that conclusion when I first started using online news platforms. I very much appreciate what ‘Google Kiosk’ does, which is letting you chose the sources that you wish to see and it shows you the headlines from all your favourite sources, arranged by category, from newest to oldest. That way you can get quite an overview over a variety of sources. I used to use apps such as ‘Spiegel Online’, but the fact that it is only one point of view all the time finally made me uninstall it.
